Description de la vidéo "The Bildo Reliefo"
Bildoreliefo, Esperanto for an image in relief definition and the creation of Alain Godon, is an innovative technique in art.

The Bildoreliefo, a completely unique work of art in itself, is a digital ultra-high definition single edition print.

Unlike a photograph often used as the model for the subject of a painting, the Bildoreliefo begins with the painting and is transformed into an original digital work of art.

These single editions give Alain Godon the ability to offer his collectors alternative versions of his paintings. The technique is exclusive and has opened the door to a new form of artistic expression combining the ancestral tradition of oil an canvas with digital technology.

Why " reliefo " ? For the reason that the artist has " deconstructed " piece by piece each constituent element of his painting, in order to preserve the originality of his art, and has then " reconstructed " those elements over a shadow creating the impression of an image in relief.

Hence each print is unique and its own specific colour gradation distinguishes it as an original.

In 2009 Bildoreliefos were exhibited simultaneously to the public for the first time at both the " Pavillon des Arts et du Design " in Paris (Tuileries) and in a New York art gallery (Central Park South). The technique of deconstruction an reconstruction of Godon's oil paintings is a rite of passage for disciples following the path of both the history of art and evolution in new techniques. Alain Godon's success over the last year has spurred him on to develop the technique he himself conceived in order to satisfy the increasing demand from his collectors.

Alain Godon is the forerunner of " Esperantism ", a movement evolved from the language of Esperanto and is mankind's universal communication through art.
