Kudzu - Indoor air quality test kits

To use it, carefully follow the next 6 steps:








Open your Kudzu kit and check its contents








If you have ordered a VOC kit, you will see it contains a round box - in which you will find the air sampler for VOCs - as well as a protective cap and an empty aluminum envelope.








If you have ordered an Aldehydes kit, it contains an aluminum envelope in which you will find the air sampler for Aldehydes. Keep it in the fridge until use.








If you have ordered a Duo kit, it contains the 2 VOC and Aldehydes air samplers, the cap and the empty aluminum envelope.








Be careful not to open the packaging of the air samplers if you are not going to use them right away.








In each Kudzu kit you will also find:








1/ An instructions guide,








2/ A sampling form,








3/ A smart card with your login, to be kept safely,








4/ A prepaid return envelope.








Now it is time to activate your Kudzu kit. This step is essential to consult your results and to follow the advancement of your analyses.








To activate your kit, log onto our website www.kudzuscience.com.








Click on "activate my Kudzu" and enter your login which appears on the smart card.








Your kit is now activated.








In this heading, you have the option to receive 2 message alerts so that you can be notified by email of the completion of your 7-day sampling and of the availability of your analysis report








Now you can start your sampling.








We advise you to choose a room where you spend a lot of time or a room which is used by a fragile person (for example a child, an elderly or sick person or an expectant mother).








Before handling the air samplers, make sure that your hands are clean and dry.








Take the VOC sampler out of its box taking care not to touch the meshed part as this is where the sampling is performed.








Take the Aldehydes sampler out of its bag. Slide the green part downwards in order to completely uncover the perforated part taking care not to touch it because this is where the sampling is performed.








As soon as your air samplers are open, sampling begins.








To obtain reliable results, place your air samplers in a cleared space. Never place them on the ground or close to cleaning products, perfume or any other source of smell.








Leave the air samplers in the same place for 7 days without touching them.








These air samplers are harmless to your children or your pets nevertheless put them in a place which is out of their reach to avoid disturbing the sampling in any way.








Note the date and time of when you start sampling on the sampling form and fill in the part regarding the room where you perform the sampling.








Here we are again 7 days later. Your sampling is now finished.








Fill in the sampling form indicating the date and time of completion.








Place the cap on the VOC air sampler in order to stop the sampling. Put it in the empty aluminum envelope.








Close the Aldehydes air sampler by sliding the green part in order to completely cover the perforated part therefore stopping the sampling. Slide it into its original bag.








You can now send your air samplers back to us together with the sampling form, in the prepaid return envelope.








To follow the advancement of your analyses or to consult your results, just simply log onto our website, click on "Consult my results" and enter your login.








Your analysis report is available within 15 days at the latest once Kudzu Science has received your sampling.
